Peaks Retreat

Prior to the sewing retreat you are offered a complimentary 20min zoom call with Izzy (your sewing instructor for the weekend) to discuss your project and any specific goals you'd like to achieve.

Saturday

• Arrive at 10am with welcome drinks and pastries in Common Room Cafe.

• 10-12:30pm Sewing time, supported by sewing instructors.

• 12:30pm Buffet lunch in the dining room.

• 1:30-5pm Sewing time, supported by sewing instructors.

• 5-7pm Free time. Enjoy a stroll around the idyllic country setting within 262 acres of beautiful parkland. Or indulge in a relaxing spa treatment.

• 7pm meet for pre-drinks in the bar.

• 7:30pm Three-course evening meal in the hotel’s stunning Oakridge Restaurant.

Sunday

• 7-9am Enjoy complimentary 'sunrise access' at the spa. Watch the sunrise from the heated outdoor pool.

• 7.20–9:30am Breakfast in the hotel restaurant.

• 9:30-12:30pm Sewing time, supported by sewing instructors.

• 12:30pm Buffet lunch in the dining room.

• 1:30-4:30pm Sewing time, supported by sewing instructors. Unlimited refreshments are available, with an afternoon break for cake and chatter.

• 4:30pm Return home, full of sewing inspiration!

This is a typical itinerary for the two day retreats. The three day retreats have a similar schedule, but the final day is on Monday.

This is an all-inclusive sewing retreat. Overnight accommodation, refreshments and meals are included, along with all of your sewing time in the sewing room.

• Overnight stay on Saturday for the two day retreats, and Saturday and Sunday for the three day retreats.

• Refreshments, lunch, dinner, bed and breakfast included.

• Complimentary spa access 7-9am on Sunday morning (and Monday for the 3 day retreats).

• Complimentary IzzoSew Studio sewing pattern of your choice on arrival.

• 10% off any purchase from Minerva from the date of booking until one week after the retreat.

• 10% off luxury hand crafted scissors from William Whiteley & Sons.

The only items that are excluded are:

• Spa treatments.

• Robe hire at the spa.

• Drinks with the evening meal.

• Any additional room service items.

The retreat includes an overnight stay (in a single room) in this beautiful venue, with a three-course evening meal in the hotel’s stunning Oakridge Restaurant and breakfast in the morning before the second day of sewing begins.

Guests will also have use of the well equipped gym throughout the weekend, and complimentary access to the exquisite spa facilities (including an outdoor heated infinity pool) between 7-9am on the Sunday.

An extra nights' accommodation on the Friday or Sunday can be added on for an additional £120 per night if required (subject to availability). This includes dinner, bed and breakfast. Just let us know on your booking form if you would like this adding on.

Guests will receive:

Pastries on arrival, snacks throughout each day and cakes in the afternoon.

Unlimited tea and coffee throughout each day.

For lunch a variety of hot items, selection of salads, assorted breads and desserts.

You can also choose to enjoy your coffee breaks in one of the hotel's many lounges or outside in the idyllic country setting within 262 acres of beautiful parkland.

A three-course evening meal in the hotel’s stunning Oakridge Restaurant and breakfast the following morning before the second day of sewing begins.

The sewing room is set up with everything you need to successfully sew your project. Two overlockers, irons, scissors, cutting mats, notions and sewing machines are all available to use.

You will want to bring the following:

• Your sewing project (fabric, notions, thread, pattern etc). If you’re a complete beginner, we can discuss a suitable project for you to sew and where to source your fabric during your zoom call,  or via email prior to the retreat, so that you can arrive ready to start your sewing journey.

• Your own sewing machine and tools if you'd like to. This is optional, although we find most people prefer to bring their own tools and machines. Sewing machines can be provided on request (just let us know on the booking form).

Izzy will be on hand to help throughout the weekend. Sophie joins the retreats if there are more than eight guests, in order to ensure everyone receives plenty of bespoke sewing support.

Izzy is a pattern designer and owner of IzzoSew Studio. Sophie is a qualified teacher and studied fashion design at university. They are both encouraging, friendly and love to help with fit, technique and style decisions.

All inclusive ticket

A full weekend ticket is available to book on our website, paid in full, which includes everything listed above.

2025: 2 day weekend tickets are £490. 3 day weekend tickets are £755.

2026: 2 day weekend tickets are £540. 3 day weekend tickets are £830.

Weekend day pass options

A weekend day ticket is available. This allows you access to the retreat between 10-5pm on Saturday and 9:30-4:30pm on Sunday (and Monday where applicable). The ticket includes everything listed above except dinner, bed and breakfast and access to the spa.

2025

For a 2 day sewing retreat day pass, just enter 2-DAY-TICKET-PEAKS into the discount box when checking out, which will reduce the ticket to £370.

For a 3 day sewing retreat day pass, just enter 3-DAY-TICKET-PEAKS into the discount box when checking out, which will reduce the ticket to £555.

2026

For a 2 day sewing retreat day pass, just enter 2-DAY-TICKET-PEAKS-2026 into the discount box when checking out, which will reduce the ticket to £425.

For a 3 day sewing retreat day pass, just enter 3-DAY-TICKET-PEAKS-2026 into the discount box when checking out, which will reduce the ticket to £600.

Payment Plan

Should you prefer to pay for the sewing retreat in monthly instalments, this can be arranged. A 15% deposit is required on booking the retreat. Select the retreat date and add it to your cart. Enter the discount code PAYMENTPLAN15 at checkout, which enables you to make the 15% ticket deposit. Once we receive your booking, we will email you with a monthly instalment schedule which will be calculated based on the number of months until the retreat.
