NEW: IzzoSew Online Studio

You can follow a pattern to the letter and the fit still isn't quite there. The IzzoSew Online Studio teaches the system behind the fit, so you can draft your own block, understand why fitting problems happen, and adjust with confidence - both our patterns and patterns from other companies. Work through it at your own pace, revisit any lesson whenever you need to, and join a community of sewists doing the same.

INTRODUCING IZZY

Izzy founded IzzoSew Studio with her husband Tim in 2021, out of a love of sewing and a desire to empower more people to make sustainable clothing choices. After 15 years as a chartered landscape architect, she retrained as a sewing teacher, swapping her scale ruler for a pattern drafting one and the contours of the land for those of the body. That retraining has sharpened into something specific: giving sewists the system behind the fit, rather than another pattern to follow, so they can stop making the same adjustments in circles and start sewing a wardrobe that's so nearly right, right. She first learned to sew from her mother while growing up in the foothills of the Himalayas, where clothes were made to fit by local tailors as a matter of course.
