Hi, I’m Izzy
I’m the founder of IzzoSew. I grew up in Nepal, where clothes were made by local tailors and designed for real bodies. That early belief that clothes should fit the person, not the other way around, still shapes everything I teach today.
After 15 years as a chartered landscape architect, I retrained in patternmaking and garment fitting. Since then, I’ve created 150+ pattern drafting tutorials for Minerva and taught fit and pattern drafting to hundreds of sewists across the UK.
My approach is simple: help you understand the why behind sewing, so you can stop guessing, solve problems with confidence, and create clothes that you truly love to wear.
